Carla Aparecida Perez Soares is a dancer, singer and TV host. She was born in Salvador, Bahia state. She first tried to pursue a modeling career at age 15. In 1995 she got invited to be one of the dancers of samba group GeraSamba, which later became to be known as E o Tchan. With E o Tchan successful uprise in the media, Carla became to be known as one of the most recognizable faces in Brazil. After E o Tchan, she became a TV host for shows on SBT network. She currently works as a singer for children's music.
