Maira Cardi de Faria was born in Cuiaba, Mato Grosso state. She started her modeling career after being elected "The Most Beautiful Brazilian Mom" in 2002, by sunday afternoon TV show, Domingo Legal. In 2003 she was hosting her own TV show, the Programa VIP. In 2009 she was invited to participate of Big Brother Brazil 9.
