Wanessa Camargo















Wanessa Godói Camargo Buaiz (born on December 28, 1982), or simply as Wanessa, a Brazilian pop singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of Brazilian sertanejo singer Zezé Di Camargo from the duo Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano.
She was also the spokesperson for various different brands, such as Maybelline, and several products based on her image targeting young girls (dolls, shoes, make-up) were released.
Currently, besides being a singer, Wanessa is also the ambassadress in the non-governamental organization SOS Mata Atlântica, which defends the preservation of the Atlantic Forest. Due to her hard work in promoting the NGO and its goals, and also working for the depollution of the Tietê river, in São Paulo, Wanessa was awarded in 2007 with the Pro-Social Award from Brazil's Nickelodeon channel,[1] and later received the Personality of the Year title from the Cisesp.[2]
The song 'Falling for U' was ranked in the 2nd position on the U.S. LGBT music international website Masterbeat. Wanessa has a great success with the LGBT people in Brazil, and she supports the same-sex marriage in the country.[3]

Em 2009, após tornar-se loira e deixar de lado o sobrenome famoso Camargo tornando apenas seu primeiro nome como artístico, lança o álbum Meu Momento, de onde foi retirado seu terceiro primeiro lugar no Hot 100 Brasil, "Fly" com o norte-americano Ja Rule. Em 2010lança um EP digital contendo quatro novas canções.
Já vendeu cerca de 1 milhão e meio de cópias de CDs e DVDs pelo Brasil, em 10 anos de carreira, é uma mezzosoprano e atinge uma nota de 3,1 oitavas.[carece de fontes]

Pitty









Priscilla Novaes Leone (born October 7, 1977), better known as Pitty, is a Brazilian hard rock singer. Pitty was born in SalvadorBahiaBrazil, the daughter of a musician. She spent much of her childhood in Porto Seguro, another Brazilian town, also in Bahia state. She grew up listening to various bands, including The BeatlesElvis PresleyFaith No MorePanteraNirvana and Metallica.
In 1996, she moved back to Salvador and played in various garage bands. She was the vocalist for the hardcore band Inkoma, and released several albums with the band. When Inkoma ended, she was invited by the producer Rafael Ramos to record a solo album.
In 2003, she released her debut album Admirável Chip Novo, which sold more than 250,000 copies, being certified Platinum. The singles "Máscara", "Admirável Chip Novo" and "Teto de Vidro" were successful in Brazil, and "Equalize" hit number one. The album title was inspired by Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (translated to Portuguese as "Admirável Mundo Novo").
After Admirável Chip Novo, the expectations for Pitty's second album were high. Her second album, Anacrônico is heavier and more daring than its predecessor. It sold more than 150,000 (Platinum). During an interview around the release of her second album, Pitty and her band said that they had listened to too much Queens of the Stone Age while recording the album. The influence is clear, especially in the heavy and slow songs, "lightly and tireless feeling of Josh Homme stand in air".
Her biggest hits to date were "Admirável Chip Novo" (Brave New Chip), "Teto de Vidro" (Glass Ceiling), "Semana Que Vem" (Next Week) , "Equalize" (Equalize), "Máscara" (Mask), "Memórias" (Memories), "Na Sua Estante" (On Your Shelf), "Déjà Vu" (Déjà Vu), "Pulsos" (Wrists), "Anacrônico" (Anachronistic) and "Me adora" (Adore Me).

Ivete Sangalo












Ivete Maria Dias de Sangalo (born May 27, 1972 in JuazeiroBahia) is a Latin Grammy Award-winning Brazilian Axé and MPB singer,songwriter, and occasional actress and television show host. She is one of the most popular and best-selling Brazilian female singers of the present, with six albums released with "Banda Eva",[1] and seven more albums in a solo career, with a total of over 12 million albums sold worldwide. Sangalo is most often recognized by her powerful voice, charisma and live performances. Her music is also very popular in Portugal.[2] She has received 14 nominations for Latin Grammy Awards alongside her career.
As a teenager, started to sing and play violin at gymkhanasfestivals and at presentations of the school where she studied. Ivete Sangalo's debut show happened in Ondina Neighborhood, Salvador, in August 1992. With that show she won the Dorival Caymmi trophy, the Grammy of Bahia music. The solo singer was once part of a group called Banda Eva, and with them she recorded six CDs and sold over four million copies.[3]
